Today is so beautiful! The leaves are crisp in an array of colors and the air is a comfortable 70. I love this. Last night I served Pumpkin Soup at Shabbat. A total yum! If you want the recipe it is in the Healthy Treasures Cookbook.
Last
night at Shabbat, one speaker shared some atrocities that are happening overseas. As I listened to what is happening, I am reminded why we are here. And I wanted to be an encourager to you to Never Quit!
In Afghanistan, during the Taliban takeover, the underground Christians were discovered because of our government giving them the list. When this was put into action, the people were sent text messages, phone calls and emails - remember all of their info was given by our government to the Taliban. Now they were being told death was coming. Fast.
The trucks going through the streets had written on them, "first we come for the Saturday worshipers, then the Sunday worshipers." The plan was to eradicate all Jews and Christians. Worship
was not allowed so the church was multiplying quickly in the underground. Now they were discovered and life was in turmoil.
Blessed news is almost all underground
worshipers were removed through the pineapple express. You can read more of this online.
Yet, the takeaway is this. We must never quit. Never fear. And ALWAYS be ready
both spiritually and physically.
Our health matters! Our spiritual health needs to be well grounded. Our physical health needs to be well nourished and
maintained.
Here are the three steps to Never Quit!
Some of you have watched the Never Quit in the Treasures of Healthy Living Bible Study DVD series. Also included in the CD series.
How to Never Quit
- Keep God's Word in your heart. We have 11 Steps to Spiritual Growth here to give you help.
- Keep the 3 principles of eating as your timeless barometer to build healthy cells. Consider this non-negotiable.
- Eat the foods God called good for us.
- Eat the foods as close to God's design
- Don't let any food become an addiction
- Don't let guilt, shame, depression - test you from the first two steps.
Diabetes, depression, gut issues, hormones - these are overcome or lessened with a healthy microbiome.
We can encourage each other by cooking meals with God's foods.
Food is the best medicine, yet, God is the only One who heals.
Medicine is necessary, surgery may be needed, and other medical procedures. Yet - never rely on those procedures to be the complete healing. We need our physical strength to finish this race well.
We need you to be strong, trials may come, hardships may surface, but those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength.
Never Quit - trusting God, speaking His Words in prayer, and caring for your body physically. Every food either nourishes or destroys a cell.
Daily Routine to Never Quit
Wake up - say out loud - Today is going to be an Amen Day!
Stretch every muscle and wake up the body.
Bend and touch your toes - yep, all the way down! If you can't reach - keep stretching every day and within 40 days, you will be there.
Drink water - with lemon is better. 16 ounces.
Wait 30 minutes to 1 hour for breakfast.
Do a 10 minute workout. More if inclined.
Breakfast - protein, vegetable and fruit
Morning - keep your mind engaged, heart focused on God's plan for your life and keep your emotions in check by calling out any thoughts that are not serving you well. The Inner Circle helps you master this!
Lunch - protein, vegetable, fruit. Fiber can come from vegetables, apple or whole grains.
Exercise
for 10 minutes, intentional.
If you have difficulty waiting for the dinner hour, eat 10 almonds or other nuts. This will help you stay focused, mentally sharp, and not needing to reach for sugar. Sometimes if my day is long and dinner is late, then I will make a smoothie with half the ingredients. 1 cup almond milk, 1 scoop of protein. (This month I get to enjoy the pumpkin protein - totally a taste of fall in my cup).
Dinner - start each meal with protein. This stabilizes insulin and glucose response. Make sure each meal has vegetables - both starch and non-starch vegetables to build the microbiome.
End the meal and make a mental note of the time so you can enjoy the evening and have a 12 - 14-hour fast overnight.
So if you finish dinner at 7 pm, a 12-hour fast will mean breakfast no sooner than 7 am. A 14-hour fast would be 9 am breakfast.
The longer the overnight fast, the greater the mental and
hormonal cleanse.
Stay encouraged. We can do this. If you need help - join the Inner Circle waitlist. Working with a group is the best way to discover hidden stumbling blocks and reach a greater awareness of how God works in your
life.
I love each of you and you are the reason why I am here. Today is the perfect day to be on a long bike ride but instead I am in a prophecy conference. Eden to Eden. The more I learn and understand about our Yeshua Messiah the more I can encourage you!
Blessings,
