How My Weight Loss Journey Led Me to the Bible Diet
Fat, depressed, stressed, and fat. That was me. I was ready to give up. Life was busy being a mom, wife, ‘church goer,’ and working. I tried every diet, month after month, and failed.
I was overweight. Then my husband and I visited the doctor for his health challenges. The doctor started writing scripts faster than we could count. I was sick, tired of my body and poor
health, and Steve was facing escalating challenges that could take us back to the days of severe sickness.
CANCER was a reality in our past. A six letter word no one
expects to hear. And we did not want to hear it again.
The days of cancer were exhausting and overwhelming, searching for answers, for HELP in turning my and my family’s
health around.
It was easy to get caught up in the winds of man’s opinions. It was a contradiction storm. Each doctor, specialist, nurse, nutritionist had a
differing opinion. Who was I supposed to listen to?
Sound familiar?
Yet God used this season of my life — and some precious people around me — to focus my eyes on HIM and His Word.
And with ONE straightforward step, I embarked on a journey that changed the course of my life — and experienced more joy, happiness, freedom, and healing than I thought possible!
