Week 3 of our new year journey to spiritual and physical wellness! 😁
This week is all about smell. Have you ever worked hard in the yard and come inside and someone asks
- What is that smell? 👃 That is sweat and sweat is healthy! 💦
So, today let’s talk about smell. Starting with the physical this week, then we will move to the spiritual. But first we must take care of that smell - both on your body and in your body.
Sweat is God’s plan for balancing pH and fluids. When Steve and I biked our first 50 mile ride, it was 80 degrees in May and he was sweating more than usual. In fact, he was on the ground writhing in muscle cramps. I was planning on calling for support. Someone rode up to us and gave him a salt tablet to add to his water. That stopped the muscle cramps, and we could finish the
ride. 🚴♀️
Otherwise sweating is good. And we should sweat. To sweat more, I use a sauna, you can check it out here, and after I get
out and shower, I sleep like a baby. In fact, I have learned to only do it no earlier than 30 minutes before bedtime. Or I will fall asleep in whatever I am doing.
And the sleep is sooooo good. I love it. 😴
Here are some more benefits of sweating:
☀ Detoxification
☀ Decrease Inflammation
☀ Increase circulation
☀ Relieve pain
☀ Burn calories
☀ Sleep Better
☀ Immune Enhancement & Promote overall health and wellness
☀ Mitochondria Support and Enhanced Energy
☀ Increased Natural Nitric Oxide and Redox Molecule Production
Sweat is good. But we don’t always want to smell like sweat. Especially when you are out with other people. 😂
Here is a deodorant Steve and I use. Since I don’t sweat often and he sweats all the time, it was an excellent test for the product. It worked for both of us. And the company does not include any: aluminum, parabens, fragrance, triclosan, talc, propylene glycol, or anything artificial!
There is a theory that parabens are the cause or contributor to breast cancer. Fat tissues will accumulate toxins and breast tissues have fat cells. So any chance we can to not add these chemicals to our skin are a must. Over 60% of what you put on your skin gets absorbed. Then the liver has to filter and, if it needs to be stored - open the fat
doors.
They are offering our Biblical Nutritionist family a coupon - use this code: AMENDAY10
So the bottom line is sweat, but don’t smell like it.
😉
Now the spiritual.
This is going to be more difficult. That is why I started with the simple. Anytime you can buy a product and check that change off your list, it is an easy - feel good -
move.
But for the spiritual we are talking forgiveness.
I know - you might want to delete this email right now.
But don’t. Sue Becker came to my house to film a portion of the Treasures of Healthy Living DVD series. Her story was pivotal. She taught making bread from freshly milled grains for many years and then came down with colon cancer. How is that possible? It goes against everything she believed and
taught.
When she was confronted with the possibility, the cancer was related to an unforgiveness, she immediately dismissed it. But then, wait - you will have to watch the video or listen to the cd’s to hear the miraculous story.
Bottom line - she needed to seek forgiveness. Her health depended on it.
Possibly you do too. It is only as hard as you make it. Here is a page on our website devoted to helping you through forgiveness. Perhaps reading it - it is not for you. Perhaps you can share this page with someone else.
Here is what unforgiveness can look like:
Pain
Obesity
Headaches
Cancer
Heart Disease
Diabetes - overeating of sugars
And that is just the physical side. The spiritual side of unforgiveness is much more dark. It is separation.
Please pray over this and let God open your heart to the
possibility.
