Each one of these doors is similar to your body. Each system in your body is another door that must be opened or kept locked against invaders.
How to Protect the Walls of our Life Physically
First - is through our brain health.
The brain has a blood brain barrier (BBB) as one of the doors in Get Smart.
This barrier is to protect from chemicals, radiation, and toxins - both from the environment and from within. This barrier is like God's hands wrapped
around the most important organ so we can have continual communication with God.
This barrier keeps us in a state of "I can handle whatever comes my way today!
This barrier keeps our hormones saying - "She's got this!"
This barrier keeps our appetite in check, "I don't need a second helping, I feel wonderful."
Yet, when we consume foods that are GMO, sprayed with glyphosphate, medications, pesticides, etc. These properties poke holes in the BBB and we are now wondering why our kids are laughing while we look for an earring that is in our ears already. It is why we can't feel satisfied when we eat.
It is why we struggle just to love our family.
Plus, the holes poked in lead to stem cells being diverted away from building new brain cells and keeping us in a stupor. And this leads to lower levels of dopamine and serotonin neurotransmitters. This is why our days seem more difficult
than they should be.,
That is just one level of protection God designed and how easily man's altered foods can interfere.
Second - is what we eat.
You know, as you've been part of the Biblical Nutritionist family for a while now, that I have to go to the word - Angiogenesis! Cruciferous vegetables add a high degree of healing to the body in the form of angiogenesis.
Angiogenesis is the body's ability to send new blood vessels to a wound that needs healing. Anti-angiogenesis is the interference of sending blood vessels to a cancer cell. God designed your body and His foods to send for healing and stop for death producing cells!
That is enough to say loudly - AMEN!!!!!
Another fact is FIBER! This is really the one that moves most people. Fiber brings blood sugar stability and fat cells flushed out! - Do I hear another AMEN!
Lastly, for today in the category of eating is resetting your taste. Many people have been eating fake foods for so long their overly excited taste buds don't recognize or enjoy real food.
So here is the trick: Parsley, Basil, and Cilantro - get these in your garden or window box ASAP!
These fresh herbs, just one leaf can reset your taste preferences for real food. And you will
start to LOVE God's foods. And taste is not all. All three help to rebuild stem cells for what you need to live a vibrant life!
Grab a single leaf and chew it right now to reset the pH in your mouth! Chew slowly.
Third - is what we put on our skin.
What goes on our skin is 60% absorbed into our bloodstream. Ok, you may ask, "Does that really matter?"
YES!!! Emphatically yes. Everything put on your skin will be filtered through the kidneys, lymphatic system and liver.
If you are overweight, this will slow down the release of fat cells, it will slow down the response of your
immune system.
We live in a day where we need a quick and accurate response of the immune system. So, every chemical can alter our walls of protection in the skin.
Yet, Here are some simple steps to bring healing and renew our walls of protection.
1. Sweat! Get hot and sweat. If it is not hot enough outside - go workout at the gym. Listen to a podcast while you sweat. (did you know the Biblical Nutritionist
is on podcast?) And if that is not enough, buy a sauna. (Use coupon code biblicalnutrition20 to get 20% off)
2. Drink water - do you want to look like a grape or a raisin? A raisin is dried. Each fold
(metaphorically speaking) in the raisin is a place for bad bacteria to lodge and cause problems. Always make sure you drink purified water and enough to keep you hydrated.
3. Salt - salt can be the perfect cleanser for your skin. It removes harmful bacteria, sloughs off dead skin and leaves a beautiful soft renewed
skin.
