Each morning Trixie and I do this dance - Do you want to go out?
Do you want to play?
Are you hungry?
Her cries are very similar.
Most of the time, she just wants to play. Play to her, is
more important than eating, drinking, sleep or rest. And she knows to keep me playing and not let me near my desk. She also knows that once I sit at my desk, playtime is over.
So, she directs our play time to the other side of the room.
Her desires are to keep me preoccupied with play so I won't go to work.
Why did God make dogs so smart?
This month in the Inner Circle we are hitting all areas. My focus for the Inner Circle is for Weight Release Celebration! And everyone is loving
it. Not only loving it - but releasing weight every week! One member is at the 100 pounds weight release mark!!!! And each pound is released not by food choices but by beliefs - desires. We are challenging desires and that brings the weight release!
Our desire is to
change our mindset and
let weight be released sooner with less effort!
Is that your desire as well? We will revisit this topic in June when the Inner Circle opens back up in May for new members to join.
Are you on the waitlist? Waitlist people get a reduced price for joining!!
Rachel is challenging the Inner Circle to a squat challenge. Now this one hurts a little!
Then Rhonda is doing a Smoothie Challenge. Her suggestions and recipes are a fun way to liven up the typical smoothie.
Then Carol is challenging everyone to recognize righteousness and how a carnal mind differs from our spirit. You can see the Ah-Ha on every face as they get this and
stop accepting the lies of the enemy and see the Truth of God's Word and how to apply it.
In each situation, we must ask - what is your desire?
Is your desire to mount up like
eagles and the energy of youth?
Is your desire to be strong to finish this race well?
Or are you comfortable in a mediocre mindset? Loving those oversized clothes, loving
that ice cream every night instead of going out for a walk?
When we get down to the desires of the heart - is that really what you want?
What if I, or anyone on our team,
challenge you to test your desires?
Desire - we have read in Scripture that He gives us the desires of our heart. But do you really know what that means?
What if you constantly
are thinking about suicide, or how ugly you are or how fat you are?
What then, are the desires of your heart? Let me just say, this verse does not apply to the desire of suicide. Yet, when we call out to Him, He then answers, as that is a desire of the heart He hears.
I read an article this week on the soaring increase in suicide in young people (as young as 7), especially since the increase in teaching gender dysphoria. People are confused. Adults are confused. Kids are overwhelmed with what they are being taught. One nurse shared that there used to be 15 visits to her clinic per month, but now with the new teachigns in schools there are over 200 visits to her clinic
per month of young people demanding hormone replacement treatment. This nurse, who is quite a leftist, knew it was time to blow the whistle and quit her job.
Therefore suicide is rampant - even in the church. What is being taught goes against the very fiber or who we are. Confusion leads to mislead desires of the heart.
We are created in God's image. That means the male and female when we were born, is the sex we are to live out with our desires.
To desire outside of God's purpose
and plan, means we will be in constant turmoil. Turmoil leads to wrong choices.
Yet, God desires to hear our prayer. He desires to never leave us, He desires to stand for us, when we call on Him.
So let's challenge our desires and
make them in agreement with His plan.
Starting with foods:
Try new foods. Spring is coming so the farmer's market will open
soon.
The fruits and veggies are delicious.
We are still in the oranges and grapefruit season in our stores, so check out this Immune Boosting Citrus Salad Recipe.
