Is this the summer you've decided to take control of your health?
Do you ever just blame your weight on a slow metabolism?
Let's talk about it!
And I have 3 simple steps to turn it all around.
Metabolism gets blamed for everything - weight, moodiness, dirty windows, and no energy. Ok, the
windows is a stretch. 😅
Metabolism is a very misunderstood concept. Did you know metabolism is the sum of all chemical reactions that take place within your 10 trillion cells? Try to absorb that fact!
That means
metabolism is not the equivalent of fat. It is the puzzle that works with every cell and organ in the body.
So, to improve it, we must look at the whole - entire - whole enchilada - body. This is more than weight.
First system to understand is the microbiome.
Second, is the liver. In the Inner
Circle one of our extra bonuses a Liver Cleanse course. Most people start there when they join this phenomenal group. (Insider Secret - Inner Circle is opening soon to the Wait List - so sign up today!)
It's true that the metabolism generates energy as the
cells metabolize food and nutrients. The key to this process are enzymes and pre/pro/phyto biotics.
Now you see why I preach this approach so often.
Here are the 3 Steps to Improve Your
Metabolism
1. EAT - Great start! WAIT - choose real food according to the 3 Principles.
Choose real food - avoid all processed, packaged and fake foods. Real foods gifted by God include enzymes which are necessary for a higher
rate metabolism.
Chew slowly - you won't miss the train, slow down and let the enzymes work!
- Enjoy each bite
- Savor the flavor
- Use herbs for flavoring
- Let food help you to heal!
2. SKIP - Fast between meals, which means no snacking. Fast 3 meals per week. This brings glucose back into
balance, which improves enzyme activity and nutrient absorption. This step is much easier than you think. Try It!
3. PLAY - Move. Be on the move every day. Don't skip a day. Find a minimum of 10 minutes to enjoy life moving, walking, kayaking, playing, gardening, dog training, pickle ball, bicycling, etc...
When you have eaten and are satisfied, you will bless the Lord your God for the good He has given you.
Now for a fun Bible study. As you know, my latest book is released Seven Foods of the Promised Land. It is my very favorite book of all!
I love it
because it showcases how much God loved his chosen people.
Here is an interesting Bible study.
Compare Deuteronomy 8:1-10 with Micah 6:14-15, more specifically the entire chapter 6.
Every time Scripture compares blessing and cursing, the item used is most often the 7 foods of the promised land. I so love how God continues to reiterate His desire to bless those who love Him.
Do you love Him? I truly hope so.
