writing those words makes me yearn for more joyful days.
And you know what? It's entirely possible. Let's embark on this journey together. Here are some ways to cultivate a happy gut, as it all begins there. By doing so, we can pave the way for a happy summer for you and your children, ultimately leading to a happier you!
Happiness stems from two areas: the brain and the gut, including its bacteria. The health of our brain is influenced by our beliefs and the state of our gut. The brain nourishes the gut, and the gut nourishes the brain.
We can nurture our brain through our beliefs and gut bacteria. Start by examining your beliefs. Choose you this day whom you will serve. Sound familiar? Shape your thoughts and perspectives regarding each situation. Do everything without complaining. Does that ring a bell?
I challenge you, along with your family and friends, to declare this summer as the season of no complaining. I remember a time when I watched my grandkids, and if they complained, they had to do five push-ups. It only took one instance for them to embrace the fun and attempt to catch others complaining. We transformed an energy drainer into an enjoyable game while eliminating complaints.

Would you rather complain and do push-ups, or choose to perceive situations differently? Believe me, when families adopt this discipline, fun ensues.
