What if there was an actual miracle you could teach your family for them to see how God works?
In the Bible on Mount Carmel, a miracle happened. Elijah was in a pickle and he needed God in a big way. He prayed and God showed his presence by sending rain.
Another miracle that is yet to happen is the greatest battle of all time. Armageddon. In the beginning, God spoke the world into place. In the end, God will speak, and the battle will be over. The valley will be filled with blood and our Lord will continue to reign.
I tell you this
because this all happens in the Jezreel Valley. The valley that was once condemned by Mark Twain as sackcloth and ashes, because it was so barren.
The land that could not grow any crop or feed any nation.
Today, the same Jezreel Valley, where the main highway from one continent to another, is in full abundance. Israel now grows enough food to feed the surrounding countries.
The year 1948, when Israel became a nation again, began the fresh growth in the Jezreel Valley. Another miracle.
If you were to visit this valley today, you could pick dates, figs, pomegranates, grapes, and olives. The fields are filled with wheat and barley.
Let me encourage
you to bring these foods to the table and share these miracles with your family and friends.
Miracles are still happening around us, and the more we teach this to our children and grandchildren while sitting at the table, the more they will see miracles happen in their lives.
We are called to live expectantly.
The reason this topic is on my mind and heart is because Artza sent me the latest gift box from Israel and the items are all from the Jezreel Valley. I love the quarterly reminders of God’s chosen
land.
The Artza box has pictures of the land, plus details of each artisan from the area. These are people to pray for as a family while enjoying their craft.
This box is just
as lovely and filled with goodies as the last.
