Just the thought of a diet is exhausting. But the reason so many people are clamoring for a solution is because there is a health crisis and it is happening in every home.
Obesity causes many of these issues. So, yes, weight is a problem to be addressed. Now - what is the best
way to handle it?
That is where we can have the peace and joy to know God already knows the best answer for you. He gave us explicit instructions on what to eat and not to be prone to gluttony or the delicacies of the king's food.
I will let you decide what that delicacy was, but know the king had white flour. I don’t know how many slaves it took to sift the bran out, but Krispy Kreme was in the palace.

everywhere and every decade brings a new list of must follow diets to lose weight overnight.
Keto and Paleo are two continually popular diets. They have lasted longer than I expected and I believe that is because they bring such quick weight loss.

Benefits of Keto
Convert from using glucose to fat for energy
When the body converts using glucose for energy, it converts in the liver to using stored fat for energy. This means all that stored fat around your body is now being used as fuel for your internal energy and external energy.
This
creates a weight loss effect of at least 5 pounds in the first week and then a continual weight loss.
Calms epilepsy
The ketogenic diet was first discovered
in the use for epileptics. It is highly effective for the body to be in ketosis and the brain to work more efficiently. This is the perfect scenario for someone dealing with a brain casualty.
Learning difficulties subside
For adults and children, the keto diet, being high in healthy fats and quality proteins, can be very beneficial for brain signaling in adults and children.
Problems with Keto
Constipation
This is very common. People are afraid to eat too many vegetables to upset the carb ratio, so the lack of high fibrous vegetables leads to constipation. I believe any diet that requires a laxative is not a healthy diet.
Constipation means the microbiome is not in balance. Keep in mind what I have already taught you. The microbiome is the foundation for all health in your body: hormones, immunity, heart health, and even weight management.
So, when the gut is constipated, that leads
to dysbiosis and leaky gut. This leads to an autoimmune disease.
Heavy Conventional Proteins
Many people on keto eat a lot of animal products from conventional farms. That means more antibiotics, and poor
quality meats. This leads to diseases down the road such as cancer, hormone imbalance, and diabetes.
How to Follow a Healthy Keto Plan
Make cruciferous
vegetables the principal food for the day. One cup raw, and one cup steamed.
Add fermented vegetables: 2 tablespoons sauerkraut or other fermented vegetables.
Increase probiotics to 2 or 3 per day. See my favorites here.
Only eat animal products from farmers you trust.
Keto can also be done vegetarian style.
