The red kettle is out, so that makes it official - the traditional holiday season has started. Yet, if you watch Great American channel, they had the holiday season starting October 1.
So, are you
traveling this year? Do you want to stay healthy as you go?
As you are reading this, I am sitting on the warm sands in Mexico. We have traveled out of the country in November for the last 4 years. Each time the group of people we are with (300 + people) some will have a report of health issues after they come home. One year many came down with Covid, other years it was other problems. Whether it is the flight with so many people on
the plane, or the large group of people together, or the cab drivers, I am not sure. But there is always a report of sickness after the trip.
YET - I am never one of them!
Here are the tips that work for me when I travel by plane to a distant place (out of the country). And below I will share how I travel by car to close places (800 miles). I want you to never fear illness during this
holiday season.
Out of the Country Travels
1. 3-4 days ahead of leaving, we (Steve and I) up our Beta
Glucan to the 500. On normal days, we take Beta Glucan 100. I have done several videos interviewing the scientist behind this research and noted all the
pubmed articles on its cancer prevention and cancer fighting. It works on the immune system to create a shield of protection. 2. We don't eat sugar the week before leaving town. It can deplete a healthy immune system. We also limit the sugars on the trip. Ok, that is half true (my half :)). I did not say we eliminate during the trip, I said we limit.
6. To prevent travelers stomach issues we carry extra probiotics to have ready. Use coupon code REEDR25 for 25% off.
It is important to continue this 'vacation' increase in supplements for one week after you are home. My husband went to a men's retreat last month and everyone in the van except him came home sick. He spent a lot of time in close proximity with 1200
guys and still was not sick.
And that is all.
Now traveling in the states by car:
- Depends on how many people we are going to be seeing and how large the crowd. We bring homemade bread for a daily slice. This keeps the fiber count high, which removes all bad bacteria quickly from the digestive tract if we encounter
any.
- Bring our own water filter.
- Bring our daily supplements as normal. Yet, bring extra in case others seem not
so healthy. Then we take more.
- Bring the Probiotics for daily dose and in case we need more. Many people don't realize how repopulating with these 42.5 billion good guys, can stop many
stomach issues and improve your immunity. Keep these on hand 24/7/365.
- Keep sweets to a bare minimum if any.
Now - you are ready to enjoy a blessed time as you discover fellowship while God gives you insight on how to pray for the people you come in contact.
OH - I left out the most important traveling tip - prayer! Pray God's Word as he shows
you how He is working around you!
Blessings to you and your loved ones. God loves you and desires to take your relationship to a new level. We are all learning, growing, changing and seeing Him more! (Or we should be).
Love you - you are my family!
