Ever wonder why some areas of life feel “unconquerable”?
I remember when God began to give me real deliverance: it started when I realized my habits were telling Him, “stay out of my kitchen!”
Comfort eating was my safe place, and I just didn’t want to let it go. It was like I was saying “Jesus, you can have my faith, but not my food!”
I wondered — why can’t I find the freedom,
confidence, and energy my heart yearns for? Well, I learned that when we keep parts of us hidden from God; we find ourselves separated from wholly realizing His love.
But let me tell you about something called whole-part relationships that can bring light to this cycle that keeps us stuck.
First, think of something you've conquered that you're proud of.
Maybe, it was successfully training for a 5K race. Or it was working hard and buying a car you love. And maybe it was graduating from high school or
college! Just because it's common doesn't mean it's easy. 😉
Now think of the first step in that process. If you ran a 5K, it would probably bring your tennis shoes to work. Or buying a car would have started with your first job application!
Whatever that first step was, it was small and seemingly insignificant.
Note:
Tonight, I am offering a unique
opportunity —a free coaching call— to help you appropriately measure the small steps YOU NEED to stay motivated. This is a valuable resource that I'm excited to share with you!
Even if you can't make it to tonight's live call at 7:00 p.m. (EST), don't worry! You can still benefit from the insights and join the conversation later by getting the recording sent to you.

Like the small steps mentioned above, allowing God to move into my kitchen was mine. It was one small step that catapulted me to where I am today. The more I worked to connect
with God, the happier and healthier I was, in every aspect of my life!
Jesus says, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29 )
He wants to carry your burdens. Everything you’re holding onto (like I was holding onto food,) is keeping you from the 24/7 easy yoke God so desperately desires for you!
So today, think about a
physical element that weighs you down.
Why the physical?
For two reasons:
- I'm a nutritionist and it's my area of expertise
- Positive shifts in our physical habits affect our mind, body, and emotional well-being!
They can renew hope and perseverance quickly.
So, what physical struggle do you cling to despite its heaviness?
And think, “How much better would my life be if I surrender to God and allow Him to help me?”
These “surrender” moments are vital to progressing in your walk with the Lord. And I promise you that whatever you're struggling to surrender will NEVER give you the amazing life God does!
Now, like packing your tennis shoes or filling out your first job application, think of a baby step you can take to
make an incremental difference in this area tomorrow.
Where it often gets tricky is with the steps and plans after these first baby steps.
Good news:
Ready to make straightforward progress this week? To walk, with small steps, into the freedom and hope God has for you?
As mentioned earlier, I’ll be hosting a free coaching call where we will discuss steps to monitor so you can get that physical victory!
I believe nothing is better than working towards success with God's family who love you. So, bring your
surrender idea, and let's unlock the power of incremental change together.

PS…
God made us to be complete persons who love Him with body, mind, and soul. When we hand small, physical habits to Him, it
can begin clearing cobwebs in other areas of our lives as well.
