Hello ,
How was your week? I'm currently away on my first holiday since the end of 2019—before the whole Covid thing.
And I've been using this time to relax, decompress,
take long, blustery beach walks with my hubbie and dog, then come back and warm up by the fire. I've been reading (even more than usual!) and of course, journaling.
And (in my journal) I've been exploring the stress I've been under this last year
(including running two businesses, moving house (and city), home renovations, dealing with loved ones' health issues and managing a challenging puppy).
Unsurprisingly, when I look closer, I can see how my thoughts and beliefs (about life and
myself) played a part in turning stress into overwhelm and burnout. It's not the only thing, but it's a contributing factor.
So what I wanted to share with you is this:
