During this COVID crisis we've had to deal with a lot of changes and restrictions placed on our lives. We're all beginning to tire of them.
And yet, we're stuck with all sorts of limitations for a while. Some of us can go and get a haircut, but now we must wear a mask. We can go to a restaurant or coffee shop if we're lucky, but everyone has to sit an eerie 6 feet
apart...
Frustrating though this is (and believe me, I feel it too), this is a great time to practice "Accepting Reality" - a powerful personal growth and happiness-boosting tool.
In fact, I just realised that this week's article is like an action plan for Reinhold Niebuhr's Serenity Prayer, which in its original form said: "Father, give us courage to change what must be altered, serenity to
accept what cannot be helped, and the insight to know the one from the other."
