Dear Friends, 

I hope you are finding our current All In: Believe, Serve, Give series to be a source of encouragement as you consider what it means to be “all in” in your faith and generosity. On Sunday, January 28, the series' final Sunday, we ask those who call this church their home to return an Estimate of Giving card for the coming year. We ask you to fill out this card as a spiritual practice. Here is what I have discovered: generosity does not happen by accident. It requires planning. It has to be a goal. It has to fit into a budget. The Estimate of Giving card is a starting point in that process. It will allow you to spend time in prayer and conversation about your income and the ways you spend and save money.  

Filling out this card also helps our church consider its mission and ministry for the coming year. We attempt to be excellent stewards of God’s resources, and knowing what goals for giving members have set for the coming year is an important piece of information. That’s why we’ve included with this email information about our current Ministry Funding Plan and highlights from our life-changing ministries. Our narrative budget will show how we plan to live out our calling as we partner in Christ's mission in 2024. 

Between now and January 28, I encourage you to pray about your giving, talk about your goals for generosity, and take a moment to reflect upon what offering you plan to give to God through our church in the coming year. Next week, you will receive an estimate of giving card and the narrative budget in the mail. Bring your Estimate of Giving card with you to worship on Sunday, January 28, or fill one out online here. If you would like to use automatic giving, you can enroll at www.centraltolife.com/give.
