City of Amarillo and Randall County Jail create new housing agreement

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The city of Amarillo will continue to send prisoners to the Randall County Jail under new terms.

The new agreement would see Randall County raise daily rates per prisoner from $75 to $100. It would also start charging $200 each time the jail books a city prisoner.

The former housing agreement would have expired in early May.
