Hamilton City - Fleet Transition Program
Transition-HQ has been contracted to lead the development of the vehicle fleet transition strategy and road-map. We are in discovery phase and will be providing evaluation/options modelling and decision support. This first phase runs through until February 2022.
Real Transition Leaders Program
The pilot course finished this week. The experience, level of engagement and participation exceeded expectations. The group was made up of various leaders from Government, Local government and Business. We are exploring ways to support the individuals in their individual development and that of the Real Transition Leaders Community as a collective, on an ongoing basis. Read more

Global Association for Transition Engineering
Grant was appointed to the Board of Trustees in October. A strategy review is underway and planning for 2022 and beyond is in process. The association currently has a small membership, but a significant presence on LinkedIn where the group is approximately 2300 members.
The interdisciplinary nature of Transition Engineering has made the promotion and development of it challenging, but the launch and promotion of the text BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE by Professor Susan Krumdieck has, and is, making a significant impact in building awareness and informing new practices.

Real Transition Leaders programmes for 2022
2022 is shaping up to be an interesting year for all of us. There are likely to be ongoing disruptions through the Covid response, choppy global economic conditions and new legislation.
As we all know, Transition is not going away. It will be a decades-long process while we adapt to climate change, emissions and energy reductions, government reforms, societal and business change. And we know that where there is change there are risks and opportunities. Real Transition Leaders will be continuously on the front of the wave in understanding what comes next - but that capability takes
time to build.
If you are interested in this programme and being part of this
dynamic learning community, or know someone that might want to know more, we are taking bookings for 2022 and are offering a 30% off early-bird price for the first 10 bookings. Read more and apply

Next week we announce the winner of our own REAL TRANSITION LEADER 2021 award, which this year will be awarded internally.
