The framework and thinking behind it
challenge us to think and act differently. We wonder if the approach might seem more relevant as the future unfolds?
While Bentoism initially gained some momentum and attracted a community, according to the website, it is currently in hibernation as founder Yancey Strickler stepped back to take on other opportunities in 2021.
For the meantime it remains an example of how difficult it is to introduce new thinking and tools, even for those who are well resourced. Perhaps it's time will come?

This weeks quote:
"There is such a thing as being too late. Procrastination is still the thief of time. Life often leaves us standing bare, naked, and dejected with a lost opportunity. The tide in the affairs of men does not remain at flood—it ebbs. We may cry out desperately for time to pause in her passage, but time is adamant to every plea and rushes on. Over the bleached bones and jumbled residues of numerous civilizations
are written the pathetic words, 'Too late.'"
- Martin Luther King Jr
