Of course, this couldn't have happened
without the ongoing support of family and friends. Paul, Fiona, Mark, Brent, Stu, Jamie and Gene have always been there - heartfelt thanks.
Rethinking and Restarting
As we explored in last week's Edge, there are a variety of ways we might move forward. We heard back from a number of you with additional suggestions - which are all possibilities. But none of them can happen in earnest without additional energy, diversity and
resources.
As yet no one has come forth with an offer that would be transformative, not that we expected any at this time. We however live in good
faith that over time others will come to see that there is a real transition required to a real economy and real equity in the future. The door will always be open to explore new propositions.
For the meantime, our proposition for you is to reflect on what you have learned on the Edge over the years. Think about how much the world has changed and perhaps you with it?
Have opportunities passed that you could or should have taken? How do you see the world and its risks and opportunities now and what does this mean for you, your family, community or organisation in the future?
From this, you might identify thoughts or questions that warrant further attention. Could or should you do better? This is the place to start your own next chapter and of course we would be honoured to be part of it.
In the meantime, we continue on the front line.
We are looking forward to an upcoming project with a regional organisation in the Pacific where the Real Transition Leadership program will be a platform to create a wider champion group for a Just Transition.
And we continue with our ongoing relationship with University of Canterbury, the home of Transition Engineering in New Zealand.
There are also emerging opportunities on the horizon to expand delivery of Real Transition Leadership education through international channels.
