So she asked for coaching. Here's what happened:

From the friendly caves of Pixie Hollow.
'OK I'll do it. I won't deny but you are a fierce mentor, slightly intimidating however I deal with it.'
A mate of mine recently asked me to coach her through the tricky waters of starting her own business. I told her she'll end up hating me.
Why?
Because she replied to a direction,
'I'll try that.'
I replied, 'Try has failure inside of it. Do, or do not. Change your language, change your life'.
TODAY'S INSANE DEAL in honour of Master Bezrington's first birthday is directly related to this. The link is at the bottom, as usual.
In the space of a fortnight, this friend has:
- given her emotions a name. We've called her anxiety 'Bruce'. Bruce is a right CU-Next-Tuesday. He pesters her constantly. She turns around with Monty Python's Bruce! Rule One: No Poofters!
- started journalling, after watching Jim Rohn's lecture on the subject. (Which is called, imaginatively enough, 'How to Journal'.)
- agreed to eliminate from her language any qualifications. She told me, 'I enjoy it and it makes me money, even if I am unfit and end up a mess...'. (She's a cleaner.) I told her that if she ditched the qualifying all the time, she'd have the statement, 'I enjoy it and it makes me money'. Massive difference.
- agreed to eliminate the word try.
- has mapped out her financials and goals.
- kept notes after every booking, which is levelling up her process and product real quick.
- gotten a bunch of new clients.
- realised the magnificence of having coin that you earned without anyone in between.
But if you are on the edge, and you're waiting to dive in, then you need someone who can whip you into shape, quickly.
And someone who won't listen to your bulldust stories.
Ultimately, a coach is better than therapy. Because you're paying a coach to shove a mirror in your face and ask you to tell them what you see. Most of the time what you see is a whole lot of rubbish storytelling that you've gotten used to.
In any case, I'm telling you this because if you're striving to improve your content practise and you're doing it alone, then you're kidding yourself.
Put your money on the table.
Get a coach or a mentor.
If nothing else, it drives accountability. Ain't nothing better than outside eyes on your work.
It hurts, but it's like legs day: It's always worth it.
This is a good time to point out that today's insane deal is 50% off my monthly coaching fee!
The deal disappears at 11:59 PM. TONIGHT.
