11 May 2022 | From the friendly caves of Pixie Hollow.
Harry Houdini was a pretty insane kinda guy.
Many of the things that he could do - which included catching bullets in his teeth and escaping from water torture cells in under two minutes - did not include writing books.
This is how that master of horror, H.P. Lovecraft, ended up ghostwriting for Houdini.
The arrangement kicked off in 1924.
While I couldn't tell you whether the arrangement existed beyond a short story titled Imprisoned with the Pharaohs, I can tell you that the arrangement was never publicly known while Houdini was alive.
The types of arrangements you can have with a ghostwriter are many and varied. I'll go into some of those this week.
So stay tuned for that!
Meanwhile -
Right now I have just two openings for ghostwriting clients from 1 July. Here's the deal:
- It's expensive
- You have to be willing to get dirty, to think, to feel
- You have to be willing to bare everything about your life or business or methods or whatever it is
- You have to remember it's a collaboration, not an abdication.
If you have dreams of being a keynote speaker, a bestseller, or just someone (or some business) with a real and meaningful legacy, it could be for you.
You can find out with a discovery call.
