New Canadian Donor-advised Funds report to be released at the CAGP Conference

CAGP is proud to announce the upcoming release of a new research report, Influence, Affluence and Opportunity: Donor-advised Funds in Canada, produced in partnership by CAGP and KCI.

Donor-advised Funds are a popular but often misunderstood giving vehicle in North America. This new report follows ground-breaking Canadian research done in 2018 and 2021 and reflects on the latest data, the scope and growth of Donor-advised Funds in Canada, discusses the many misconceptions of their form and function, and suggests ways to improve how public foundation leaders who operate Donor-advised Fund programs can better empower generous donors. There is tremendous opportunity for Donor-advised Funds to become a better planning tool for philanthropic advisors and ultimately, support the Canadian charitable community.
