Visual Skills and Autism: Can You Notice What You See?
Featuring: Dr. Neil Margolis – Dr. Neil Margolis is an experienced Developmental Optometrist practicing in Arlington Heights, Illinois. He has specialized his practice over the last 30 years towards the evaluation and treatment of vision processing skills as they affect academic learning and visual attention. In many cases this includes assessing children who are nonverbal or inconsistent with their motor responses. He
is on the Advisory Board of Soaring Eagle and Giant Steps schools, which are dedicated to educating children on the autism spectrum. Dr. Margolis provides vision related recommendations for IEP’s and for treatment plans.
