Featuring: Becky Miksic, OTR/L – Becky Miksic, OTR/L is the Founder of End Picky Eating, a board certified occupational therapist who is licensed in the state of California, and a mother of two. She started her career at San Diego's Children's Hospital where she was
fortunate to receive mentoring in the specialty area of feeding. She learned to help children on the Autism Spectrum tolerate a wide variety of smells, flavors, textures and temperatures so they expanded their diets and could eat even when they were away from home.
Becky then transitioned to working in families homes where she gained a new appreciation for the constant stress parents deal with when they have a child who will not eat. This inspired her to focus on parent education and support. Becky believes informed and involved parents are the foundation for wildly successful therapy.
Becky has traveled across the country teaching professionals and parents how to end mealtime battles and grow their children's food preferences. She is a published author and this year was featured in the International #1 Best Selling book "The One Thing Every Mom Needs to Know."
Becky’s mission is to provide parents with the most current evidence-based strategies and effective tools available, so no matter where they go, parents can feel confident their children can eat enough of what’s served and families can create joyful mealtime memories together.
