July Is National Grilling Month
Grilled Croatian Chicken
Do You Grill?
Don is the grillmaster at our house, although I CAN grill foods if I choose to. (Don't tell Don.) He makes an amazing Croatian Grilled Chicken. It's so
simple and scrumptious.
It only takes a short time to grill it, but you have to marinate the chicken for at least an hour before you grill it to let the flavors sink in.
Read my post to see why we call it Croatian Chicken.
Do Know It's Also National Wellness Month?
I hope you are well, but if you hurt and don't know why, I suggest you pick up a copy of my new book. It might help you figure out just what is causing your aches and pains. It helped me.
If you're like me, you have probably tried a lot of diets. But I have not had lasting success with them. Have you?
Instead, I developed a food journal, kept track of what I ate and what symptoms I experienced until I discovered what was making me hurt. It turns out that what was making me hurt also made my body hold onto extra weight.
My food journal worked for me. It might work for you, too. What do you think?

Hello ,
July is "National Grilling Month." That means when we are home (which we are not right now), Don does the cooking. So in this issue of Smell the Coffee, I'm sharing two of our favorite grilling recipes: Croatian Chicken and Grilled Zucchini Parmesan.
I Love It When YOU Share
Please keep telling your friends and sharing on social media about my new book It Ain't Just The Diet Food Journal. And if you
see a recipe you like, share, share, share. Thanks!
Summer Plans
Do you have a vacation planned? When and where? We are traveling a bit, first to Quaker camp, and then to Wisconsin to see family. I'll be back from the summer trips mid-August. In the meantime, please head on over to Recipe Idea Shop and take a look at our recipes. With more than 700 recipes there, you are sure to find what you are looking for.
Stay happy,
Lois
P.S. I'd love to hear from you. You can simply reply to this email. I personally answer all my email messages from readers. There may be a slower response when I'm out of town, but I'll
respond!
