Jackie's Pudding is a homemade vanilla custard (pudding).
What Is Custard?
Custard is a dessert or sweet sauce made with milk, eggs and sugar. It can be thick and creamy, thin and saucy, or frozen into a creamy ice cream.

Because today is National Vanilla Custard Day, I'm highlighting one of my favorite desserts. We call it Jackie's Pudding. It's a simple, full-of-flavor, creamy pudding that we love. Do you celebrate "Taco Tuesday?" I know many in my family love to count on having tacos every Tuesday. Some eat them with meat; others make them vegetarian. I prefer mine as a taco salad with chips.
