Today Is International Bacon Day
Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts
Are You A Brussels Sprouts Fan?
Wait. Wasn't I talking about bacon? But I'll answer the question. I must admit, I'm not fond of Brussels sprouts "plain" (boiled or steamed). They taste bitter to me.
But I love, love, love this Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts recipe. (Oh, there's the bacon. You know I love the stuff.) Not only bacon, but the
other ingredients make it so, so tasty. Maple syrup, vinegar, dates, a little cayenne, and olive oil. What a way to celebrate International Bacon Day. It's my fav.
What's your favorite way to eat bacon?

Hello ,
Here at Recipe Idea Shop we are swimming in watermelon, tomatoes and squash. We get a small box of produce each week from our weekly CSA (community sponsored agriculture). With only two of us here, sometimes we can't keep up with the amount of produce we receive. But the food is so good. Do you participate in a
CSA?
Last week we had a couple of eggplants and I made Roasted Eggplant Quinoa Salad (recipe link below), which is super yummy.
