Hello ,
By the time you read this, Don and I will be sitting in school! That's right, we are taking a break for a couple weeks to keep our old brains active. Attending a Spanish immersion school will be quite the challenge for me. Wish me luck!
I hope you had a safe and happy New Year!
What Did You Eat for Luck?
Scroll down to check out my Ribs & Sauerkraut recipe. I made it a little early so I could update the picture for you. It's an easy slow cooker recipe. Are you a sauerkraut fan?
Happy New Year!
One of the connections I truly value is you, dear reader, because you stick by me and keep reading and responding to my messages. Thank you!
Until next week...
Be happy,
Lois
P.S. I'd love to hear from you. You can simply reply to this email. I personally answer all my email messages from readers.
Did You Get Your Copy of My Memoir Cookbook Yet?
You Might NEED This Food Journal
Why Do You Need This Book?
If you hurt and don't know why, or you have symptoms you wonder about, this book may help you figure out what's wrong. It's a terrific tool to keep track of your meals, health, medications, blood sugar readings, blood pressure and more. And you can show it to your healthcare professional if you need more help.
Pick up It Ain't Just The Diet Food Journal (larger size) on Amazon (affiliate link).
Of course, you can still get the smaller size Food Journal on Amazon (affiliate link), too. I love both of them, but the smaller size is so easy to carry around.
P.S. The fillable PDF It Ain't Just the Diet FOOD JOURNAL (that you can download and fill in right on your computer or phone) will be available in December. Watch for the announcement soon.

Do you make New Year’s resolutions? I don’t, but some people find them effective. Whatever you do, I suggest you start small and implement changes slowly. Small changes are easier to deal with than radical, sweeping changes. Read Time For A Fresh Start.
If you're from the North, you might eat Ribs & Sauerkraut to bring good luck in the new year. Click on the photo for the slow cooker recipe.
