Hello ,
I bet you are thinking it's time for a little comfort food on these cold, late autumn nights. I've got just the thing for you, homemade soup!
What's your favorite homemade soup?
I really love soup, but I don't think I have a favorite. Today I made some of my homemade
Mental Lentil Soup for lunch. Homemade is so much better than canned. Scroll down to see the picture and click on it for the recipe.
Winter Wordfest Book Fair
Mark your calendar now for
Saturday, December 11, 1:00-7:30 PM.
Winter Wordfest, sponsored by the Shenandoah Valley Writers group, has 12 amazing authors participating. You can read all about all the authors and
Winter Wordfest 2021 here.
Winter Wordfest is the same day as
Winter Wonderfest, so bring the kids and enjoy a fun time in Harrisonburg.
Recipe Reprise
If you are making Holiday Cookies, I suggest you take it easy and make some amazing
Danish Sugar Cookies. You can dip them in melted chocolate for extra flavor and beauty. This recipe is easy enough for kids to make. Whip up the dough, roll in little balls
then in sugar. Squash them down. Bake. Eat.
Grateful Every Day
Thank you, readers, for your dedication and support. May your holiday season be happy and healthy.
Until next week...
Be happy,
Lois
