Sponsored the Environmental Defense Fund's community-based solar power and storage project in Culebra, Puerto Rico. The
initiative is focused on providing solar panels and batteries to low and moderate income residents (prioritizing those with special needs), while also supporting their advocacy efforts to include Puerto Rico in the Clean Energy Accelerator.
Joined efforts with Salvation Army Puerto Rico to distribute 1,000 backpacks with school supplies through various island towns.
Launched their social responsibility campaign Te
Tenemos en Mente to support initiatives addressing the increasing number of mental and emotional conditions affecting the elderly as a result from the pandemic.
Launched the Beginning of the Year Relationship Building Toolkit (Spanish, English) for educators and school, district, and LEA leaders. The tool gives insight into building intentional, thoughtful relationships at the beginning of the year, ensuring students have what they need for success — whether they are entering school for the first time, transitioning to a new grade, or navigating
distance learning during a pandemic.
Through the 24th edition of its golf tournament, it raised more than $90,000 in donations for Muscular Dystrophy Association, CAP Foundation and Triple-S Foundation.
During the Bluetide Caribbean Summit signed a collaborative economic development agreement between Puerto
Rico, US Virgin Islands, and British Virgin Islands to lay the foundation for innovation and business acceleration, and to insert NPOs at the regional level.
