Mastering the Art of Delegation
One of the key pillars of effective leadership is delegation. Too many small business owners
that we work with forget that little key pillar of success.
Learn how to identify tasks suitable for delegation, empower your team members, and foster a culture of trust and accountability within your organization. Remember, delegation is not merely about offloading tasks but about strategically distributing responsibilities to optimize efficiency and drive
results.
Organization Chart
Think of the military or a professional baseball team. There is a chain of command of how orders and information flows. Everybody in the organization has a specific role and an
accountability reporting system. How does your business compare or contrast to that model?
If your business contrasts to that model start by downloading an organizational chart and write in all of the employees and their specific tasks. Their tasks should be based upon the things that only they can do.
Now if you are wearing all the hats don't worry. Fill out the chart as you would want it to be in the future and work towards hiring those people and delegating anything on your plate that they can do; to their plate.
Without delegation you, the business owner will
waste un-tolled amounts of time and loss in opportunity, current business and ultimately wealth.
