Musings From Your Favorite Attorney
Spring has officially sprung in my backyard. The trees are sporting that gorgeous new leaf spring green and the cherry tree is clothed in peak bloom pink. This is my favorite time of year! I love to watch the world coming alive again. And I love that I can get out for walks while it isn't so hot I'm melting or so cold my face is
frozen. Jay and I took advantage of the beautiful weather last Sun120day and went for a walk at Peace Valley Park. From where we park to the bridge is about a third of the way around Lake Galena. It's a paved path, but it is hilly with a few 8% inclines. To the bridge and back we walked FIVE miles in a little over two hours. I know for some of you that's a piece of cake. Not for me. Having walked no more than one mile around the block all winter, it was quite a stretch. And I thought I was going to die by the end. My socks were rubbing in my shoes, my feet were on fire, my knees were complaining, and every step hurt. But I DID it! AND I survived to tell about it! Which brings me to my point - we CAN do hard things. Whether it's a five mile walk, writing a book, or launching a new course or product. You are capable of
doing the hard stuff - both personally and in your business. "The greater the difficulty, the more the glory in surmounting it.” ― Epicurus, Greek Philosopher
So what big "project" have you been holding back on because you fear it will be too hard? What one step can you take today to move the needle forward? Until next time. With gratitude, Cheri

#SimpleAbundance We were taught growing up to "dress the part" or that how we present ourselves will matter in our ability to succeed. As Sarah Ban Breathnach notes,
"Unfortunately our outside packaging counts for far more than it really should." Ain't that the truth? As you step more into your authentic self, the outward trappings matter less. Just a reminder - you are worthy - whether you put on makeup this morning or not! Let's Talk Legal, my private Facebook Group, is a place to discuss the
legal aspects of running a small business in an open, honest, supportive community of like-minded small business owners. If you are a member, engage! Ask questions, share business advice, join in discussions, invite your fellow business owners! If you aren't a member join now... We'd love to welcome you!
