Employee Handbook The last time I came to your inbox we were talking about that first big hire and all of the requirements that triggers. One of those may be the need for an employee handbook. But why? An employee handbook is a useful tool to create a positive workplace culture, foster employee loyalty, and provide needed information. An employee
handbook is a printed or electronic document that provides reference information regarding company culture, benefits, and policies. Provide a handbook to every new employee during the onboarding process. The handbook makes a new hire feel more at home and increases their efficiency out of the gate. An employee handbook is NOT legally required. Certain laws require an employer to
notify employees of workplace rights. But no law requires use of a handbook to make these notifications. It’s just an easy way to accomplish it! And a great place to gather employer related legal protections. The handbook provides your business with legal protection from employee lawsuits and claims, such as wrongful termination, harassment, or discrimination. A well drafted handbook can show that your company is compliant with regulations, and that your employee knew the

Corporate Transparency Act Workshop Avoid hefty fines and prison time! Have you heard about the Corporate Transparency Act? Do you know how to be compliant with FinCEN BOIR reporting? If this all sounds like gibberish to you, I've got you covered! Join the Corporate Transparency Act Workshop where you'll learn what exactly this new
regulation is and how it affects you as a small business owner. In this half-hour workshop, you will learn - what the Corporate Transparency Act is,
- why you WANT to be compliant,
- what you need to do to be compliant with the Act,
- and what information you'll need to fill out the Beneficial Owner Information Reporting (BOIR) for yourself, or provide to me to fill it out on your
