Wishing you all a day filled with family, friends and lots of food!

 

Our family will gather tomorrow, today it is just David and I. It is both strange and lovely. I did the baking yesterday, and today the kitchen gets deep cleaned so that tomorrow morning I can bake again except that tomorrow everything will be gluten free. My sweet daughter in law Kelsey (mom to 3 of my grandsons) was diagnosed a couple of months ago with Celiac. I have been reading and learning what I need to do to keep her safe and healthy. She loves the family crescent rolls and so I researched and found a packaged mix- tomorrow it gets tested. I know it will not be the same but it is worth a try.

 

As you all know I sent out the retiring list and carry over list for the July-December mini catalog a few days ago, since that time SU! announced a decision that might possibly affect things - Beginning December 1st SU will not take orders for items that are not on the pick line- basically backorders will not be an option. 

 

This decision is a result of the supply chain issues affecting every business world wide. Supply chain not only means products- from core materials to finished product but also man power, shipping issues etc. 

We all have heard about the cargo ships sitting out in the ocean waiting for their turn to unload at the docks.

 

But the good news is that SU! saw some of this coming and placed orders for product well in advance and will continue to order lots, so for example the Penguin Place bundle is now once again in stock and available for order! Woot woot! Did I show you these little cuties? I will be sending these out with thank you cards for orders placed this month.
