1:30 Lingfield, Kimngrace - 1pt win 16/1 (go e/w if you want but could be a boom or bust type)
A cracking looking renewal which might end up
being between the top two in the betting, and although both Barone and Alligator are quality sprinters in their own right, both are now fully exposed, so I think the value might lie in one of their less exposed counterparts. Cue Kimngrace, who might not have the all-weather form of some of her rivals, but she posted some very good numbers when performing to a high standard on the turf last year, winning a hot handicap at York, before looking unlucky not to follow up when an unlucky 6th at
Doncaster, staying on strongly in the wrong group after getting hampered. She doesn't have much to go on all-weather wise, but she ran well here in her only visit in a decent novice race back in 2021, finishing 2nd to a nice type in Sassy Rascal, with the now rated 99 Live The Dream back in third. She has a wide draw to cope with tomorrow, but this race looks like being run at a strong pace, and if it's starts to fall apart late on, then she could be the one seen finishing best. Her wellbeing is
taken on trust, but it's interesting that her trainer has brought her back from a break to run in a listed race when she could be entered in a lesser handicap, and in a race that's had a few fillies/mare's win in the past, I think she can go well tomorrow.
