I recently had a coaching call with client. I encouraged her to
do a "brain dump".
- I walked her through the steps slow and steady, giving her time to release her tangled thoughts and put them on paper.
- We talked about the implications and frustrations that these thoughts brought up.
- This activity lightened her load.
- It gave her some much needed clarity.
- She felt energized and more motivated to "keep on keeping on".
