Are you expecting a weekend that is fun & full of energy or are you running on fumes and looking forward to
some major downtime?
For years, I worked a job I *thought* was going to be my dream job. For a long time it was, but over the years I just became more and more disillusioned until I was physically🤕, emotionally😞 and spiritually 🙏 unwell.
In time, I put my faith in action and put a plan in place to heal myself from the inside out, retire early and move on to something that truly lights me up- being a virtual COURAGE COACH!
Now I travel and coach simultaneously!
I'm no longer
running on fumes all the time.
Sure, life goes on.
Sometimes...
I feel busy and harried.
I get stuck in the mundane.
Sadness
and frustration sets in.
I'm unfocused and spinning my wheels.
I want to share a few words that help ME get back on track and block those
self-sabotaging scripts that can slow down my forward journey.
1. Awareness~ realize that your patterns
of behavior are deeply engrained and they will not change by themselves.
2. Remain Neutral~ ditch the anger, frustration, overwhelm and just observe. What is it that you need to learn from this experience?
3. Breathe Deeply~ take
that negativity and slowly expel it. Take several deep breathes...the feelings run deep.
4. Be Grateful~ these setbacks are there for your to GROW. They are happening FOR you, not TO you.
So today, kick the running on fumes habit to the curb!
Know that your body, soul and mind CAN recover. Mine did!
Remember...
those feelings of being harried, unfocused and less-than-productive are ALWAYS there trying to hold you back.
They're called EXCUSES.
Don't fall for them!
They pop up anytime you want to stretch your horizons and better yourself in new and exciting ways...
So be prepared and NEXT TIME (and there WILL BE a next time) you'll know what to do.
