This week has already been fraught with so many emotions... and it's ONLY Wednesday.
Ever had one of those weeks?
The weekend was fun & full of energy as I participated in an online course that I have been looking forward to for a long time!
Then came Monday &Tuesday- back to the grind and my excitement from the weekend faded into the here and now,
Life goes on...
Right?
…busy and harried?
…mundane?
…lonely and frustrated?
…unfocused?
Here's 4 tips on what it takes to keep your thoughts on track and to be able to block those self-sabotaging scripts that can keep you from moving forward.
1. Awareness~ realize that these thoughts are deeply engrained and they will come.
2. Remain Neutral~ ditch the anger, frustration, overwhelm and just observe. What is it that you need to learn from this experience?
3. Breathe Deeply~ take that negativity and slowly expel it. Take several deep breathes...the feelings run deep.
4. Be Grateful~ these setbacks are there for your to GROW.
They are happening FOR you, not TO you.
So today, kick that negativity to the curb.
Utilize the 4 steps I've outlined above and...
Remember...
those feelings of being harried, unfocused and less-than-productive are ALWAYS there hold you back.
Don't fall for it!
They pop up anytime you want to stretch your horizons and better yourself in new and exciting ways...
It's nothing new, is it?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
So be prepared and NEXT TIME (there WILL BE a next time) you'll know what to do.
