Understanding the Flowering Period
Our recent blog post regarding the flowering period of cannabis has struck a chord with our
community, so we decided to make a video version. Check it out below, and learn all you can about the flowering stage of cannabis growth. It's when your marijuana plant grows and begins to form buds prior to harvest.
What’s Growing at Smokey Okie’s:
- Apple Tartz
- Chernobyl
- Glue Sniffer
- Hindsight
- Hot Mess
- Lemon Grab
- MMXX
- Original Glue
- Prayer Pupil
- Super Skunk
We are also excited to announce that coming in the spring of 2022 we will be harvesting and welcoming some new strains to our collection. These varieties include:
- Emergen-C by Seed Junky Genetics (Orange Push Pop x Sunset Sherbet)
- Cherrywanna by Bulletproof Genetics (Cherry Punch x Deep Breath)
- Cakes & Cream by In-House Genetics (Platinum x Pancakes)
- Lava Cake (GSC x Grape Pie)
Wondering how much cannabis you can grow legally in Oklahoma or other rules surrounding growing on your own? We are here to help. First, you must have a medical card from the State of Oklahoma in order to grow marijuana at
home.
Each medical cardholder in Oklahoma is permitted to have up to six seedlings and six mature (flowering) cannabis plants in their homes, for a total of twelve plants. These plants can only be grown in homes, unless they are a
licensed commercial cannabis grower.

Pheno-Hunting with Smokey Okies!
Pheno hunting is when we at Smokey Okies sift through seeds to find
the best seeds with the dominant traits so that we can cultivate strains exactly as we wish. This happens after germination and right now, we are pheno hunting with Bulletproof Genetics and Seed Junkys. This includes crosses with Dragon Stash that have never been released, Emergen-C (Orange Push Pop x Sunset Sherbert) and more.
Check out some new announcements and a behind-the-scenes look at the Emergen-C and Lava Cake plants (coming in April!) in the latest update video from Travis, co-owner of Smokey Okie’s:
