Our customers are very important to us! We customize our support to fit the needs of our clients. Many of our customers tell us they love the weekly coaching sessions, it keeps them on task. Other customers enjoy being more independent, and approach learning at a faster or slower pace. TLC recognizes each individual has a preferred learning style: videos, self-paced learning modules, written materials, Zoom or phone meetings and sometimes face-to-face meetings. We are flexible to fit a customer’s needs! TLC is ready to assist quickly when issues arise and assess if a staff member or contract personnel is the best person to provide solutions or troubleshooting. If you are already a client, then, you have a phone number and email of at least one TLC person. Daily staff meetings allow TLC personnel to discuss client situations and brainstorm strategies. One of the benefits as a TLC campaign creator is completing a social network assessment and receiving feedback from TLC coaches on strength and suggestions for strengthening a client’s network. Crowdfunding relies a great deal on the strength of a campaign creator’s social network to be successful.

Two years ago, The Local Crowd collaborated with the Institute For Research in the Social Sciences at Colorado State University (IRISS) to develop an assessment tool to analyze a client’s social network. Clients answer several questions on social networks, such as Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn as examples, number of followers, also email distribution lists, affinity groups, friends and family and more.
TLC provides a graph to demonstrate the social network connections and where strengths are evident as well as areas that may need more attention. TLC coaches provide feedback and strategic actions.
