Humanitarian Crisis in Ukraine: 5 Weeks on since the Russian invasion the fastest and largest displacement of people in Europe since World War II 10 million people have been forcibly displaced, More than 3 million people have crossed borders in search of safety. Whole cities have been decimated not least tens of thousands of homes. World Jewish Relief has close
relationships with 29 local partners. ENABLING swift response to their communities’ most urgent needs. They have assisted more than 18,000 of the most vulnerable Jewish Ukrainians in the country and additionally operate widely in neighbouring Poland and Moldova, with food, fuel, water, shelter, hygiene items, psychological and legal support, companionship, and assistance organising evacuations to safety.
