Ashley spent 20 years working in media including: television, radio, theatre, and stand-up comedy; as a producer, a writer, a performer, and as an agent. Ashley co-wrote and produced a comedy archive show about the richness of Jewish comedy, entitled “Funny You Should Ask” for BBC Radio 2. He believes heavily in the “Jewish Comedy Four Fathers” one of whom, Mel Brooks, he was lucky enough to spend a day with.
