Colin Shindler teaches American and British social and cultural history. He is also an author (perhaps best-known for his childhood memoir Manchester United Ruined My Life) and a producer in TV, radio and film.
He won a BAFTA award
for his production of A Little Princess, wrote the screenplay for the feature film Buster, and has produced several TV dramas including Lovejoy and Wish me Luck.
Colin is currently working on the television adaptation of his novel Hollywood Nazis, set at the time of the making of the 1939 Warner Brothers film Confessions of a Nazi Spy.
His next book is titled Boom!:The Story of a Generation.
