Changes to federal racial and ethnic identity collection Big news from the US Census Bureau this week: The federal standards
for the collection of race and ethnicity have been changed on all federal forms, which will combine the race and ethnicity categories into one question. "Hispanic, Latino, or Spanish origin" will now be added to the question about racial identity, and the category "Middle Eastern, North African" will be added as an option. Read more here! 2023 Hartford Youth Fellows Research Now Available The 2023 Hartford Youth conducted research on educational outcomes of the
youth in their city and the mental health resources for youth. The 2023 Hartford Youth Data Fellows worked with the Hartford Data Collaborative team to explore questions that not only matter to them, but also can improve the supports provided to youth in the city. Case Study: Creating a Platform to Explore Local Data Every five years, Northwest Hills Council of Governments (COG) updates their Comprehensive Economic
Development Strategy, which serves as a guide to the region’s 21 towns and economic development partners. Northwest Hills COG reached out to CTData to provide a data and analysis
