Hi Bloomers!

Whilst my Sydney BIG BLOOMS 4.5 day workshop next week is fully booked out,

I've made some space at the venue to squeeze in a RARE offering of a ONE DAY BLOOMS WORKSHOP whilst in Sydney as I know there are some of you who need painting support to improve your painting confidence and sort out your painting bug bears. 

Some of you prefer tuition in person to get past your issues ( sometimes imaginary ones!). Well, here I am. It is short notice but there are some students I need to see in person so CARPE DIEM! Here is the opportunity. And I know if this is important to you, you will, like me, move the diary to make it happen! 

There are just 12 places available. It's not coming back round again.

For some of you this will be a refresher. For others it will be breaking the ice on how to paint, and for a few of you... this will be getting those rusty creative juices going again! In just one day you will be in the other side of your painting fears and into productivity!

 

Marion and Dianne are friends who enjoyed a great day out together at a recent ONE DAY MELBOURNE BLOOMS PAINTING WORKSHOP and they produced these two gorgeous Just Joey Roses. It just also happened to be Marion's birthday!

What will we paint?

 

We have a choice of 2 roses to paint so two colour combinations  to choose from.

 

Roses cover off everything you need to know from getting a petal to curl to varying your tones, about backgrounds, creating a  structure for your painting, blending the paint and mixing colours. Both of these paintings are gorgeous to create. 

 

Choose from the Gold Antique Rose with it's smokey creamy colours and caramel accents... Here are some student examples painted in a day at the One Day Blooms Painting Workshop.

Is this workshop in Acrylics?

 

Yes the workshop is in acrylics with all paints and medium supplied as well as brushes included yours to keep. I will show you how to get your acrylics to have brilliant colour.

• how to get the paint to flow, how to work with acrylics
• gain control over your painting outcomes so they are to your liking
• how to easily correct mistakes
• lots of fab tips and techniques from building a solid painting foundation to getting the painting to have the finish you want
• how to get the professional finish
• my BLOOMS system of painting that is NO FAIL so you can continue painting with confidence yourself
• you can become an artist even if you have never painted before
• how to turn mistakes around and how to quickly spot them

 

YOUR OWN SET OF BRUSHES TO KEEP  INCLUDED 

 

 

How much does it cost?

The workshop costs $480 inc GST. It includes refreshments, lunch, art supplies, set of brushes to keep, stunning photo references and prep materials, paints and your canvas and tuition.

 

What do I need to bring?

Yourself, a sense of humour, willingness to go through a process, a painting shirt,

two empty plastic containers for water, comfortable clothing.

 

What if I have special dietary requirements?

How do I book in?
