Happy New Year ,
It’s the start of a brand-new year (again), and I’m sure you have already had your fair share of messaging about the importance of goal-setting. Well, I’m here to add to that collection, BUT I want to share with you three powerful
questions I have been asking my clients to think through for the New Year.
1. How clear are your reasons for wanting to achieve your goals?
We have great intentions, but there are times when the ambiguity of our reasons can work against us. It’s important to be both purposeful and
intentional about why you want what you want. Say no to behaviors and habits that do not support your goals. “Yes,” is simple philosophically, but priming your environment to only say “YES” to habits that support your goals is ideal!
2. What skills would make achieving your goals easier?
Yes, a weight loss goal is great, but building a system of accountability will allow you to stay on track. We all have gaps in our consistency, but
focusing on your consistency system is often more important than the goal itself.
3. What does the saying “You have to do it all, but you can’t do it all by yourself?” mean to you?
It’s important to set yourself up for success to achieve your goals. Invest in yourself; find the support you need to reach your desired outcomes.
It may be a life coach, business partner, fitness trainer, or a couple’s therapist-- just make sure to prioritize a well-thought-through support system. It’s so valuable to give yourself the most optimal environment to bring your goals to fruition. This system gives your goals the nourishment needed to become a lived reality.
, the system is actually more important than the goal itself. Focus on your systems that support your goal, and your goals
will have no choice but to manifest!
