Hello again ! How did it get to be April so quickly! Have you been caught by an April Fool today? I must say I am a little disappointed in The Guardian today as I cannot find their offering this year. I doubt if they will ever top the
Spaghetti Crop hoax of yesteryear though!
Anyway, off we go with more details of services I have used. In fact I am still using pretty much all of them. For ease of reference I have now created a Linktree to
include everything. If there's anything else you are looking for, do let me know, as I have probably at least heard of something over the years that might be suitable for you.
Effective Social Media Scheduling
May I introduce you to the delightful Edgar. He is an octopus with many arms and great intelligence, so he can schedule your posts across all channels, and what's more, recycle your 'evergreen' content so that your feeds are always fresh, up to date and engaging.
You can set up a number of categories, such as Marketing, Call to Action, Giveaways, Recommended Reading, Seasonal - and really, whatever you want. Then you schedule them in weekly slots and hey presto, off it goes. You can keep an eye on what's going out on the mobile app, and it handles graphics and links
beautifully.
I did try Hootsuite and Facebook, which do have scheduling options, but I found MeetEdgar more affordable and more flexible. There are two levels, priced accordingly, and you can get a free trial on my affiliate link.
Happy to hop on a call and demonstrate if you'd like that, and anyway it's always good to chat.
Coaching software
Coming back to Paperbell again, I know you may be doing group coaching sessions, and this is also featured in
Paperbell.
What happens is, you set up the package and the appointment time(s), and everyone sees it in their own calendar. You can specify the maximum number of participants and a cut off date for registrations, i.e. purchases. There is a lot more flexibility built in with this, but this is the basic idea.
So you could use Paperbell for mastermind groups, coaching groups or even team meetings.
Again there are many more features in Paperbell which I'll describe in subsequent issues; for now you can see it here at my affiliate link,
and try before you buy. To see it in action, here is the Coaching Shop that I created for my work with it.
Legals More about the amazing
Suzanne Dibble - she has a whole Small Business Legal Academy to support small business owners, especially coaches, consultants and therapists.
She provides a lot of free content as well, although it's definitely worth getting at least her template packs as I've said before. She also does a specific GDPR module, now also incorporating Brexit. I don't know about you but when GDPR came out I was so busy getting it all sorted that I had no time to set up my geraniums that year! And Suzanne's packs made it doable.
Suzanne wrote the GDPR for Dummies book and I have a spare copy. RRP is £23.99, with occasional price drops, but you can have mine for £15 plus postage, first come first
served!
That's it for now , and I hope you've found this useful. Feel free to get in touch with any questions or suggestions, and I'll be in touch again next month. For
now, here are some buttons illustrating how I've used some of the products I've described.
All best wishes,
Barbara
