Hello again ! Hope you are keeping well, as we go into yet another month, how time flies.
Today I’ll share more features of Edgar, AWeber and Paperbell, and more. To see pretty much everything I use in one place, here is a Linktree, a very handy
little tool. As ever, If there's anything else you are wondering about, do ask me, as I have probably at least heard of something over the years that might be suitable for you.
More about Edgar
I introduced this cute little chap last time, and his main job is to schedule your posts across all channels, and what's more, recycle your 'evergreen' content so that everything is up to date and doesn’t get boring.
Another really useful feature is the RSS feed facility. What this means in practice for your social posts is that you can set Edgar to upload into your Library (where you store your content) the latest blog from any site that has a RSS feed, and many do. For example I set it to pull in my blog posts and my newsletters, which then go
out as posts, to show my credibility and experience. You can set them to be Pending so that you can tweak them before they go out.
If you’d like more detail, I’m happy to come on a call and demonstrate if you'd like that, and anyway it's always good to chat. Just let me know.
AWeber 3
I’m using AWeber to create this newsletter, and it does far more than just your bog standard email newsletter.
It integrates with a huge number of other apps, and today I’ll mention just one - the brilliant Canva graphics programme.
Canva is everything you want from graphics, and I now pay to use the Pro version, although the free version is very good too. It’s where I get my images from in my own newsletters, and with the integration you can do it without leaving AWeber. Which is really neat.
Coaching software
Coming back to Paperbell again, here is another very useful feature that they have recently released.
I’ve said that it handles all your invoicing and scheduling, and this is done by email to the client and to you. They have now set up personalised emails for various situations, such as appointment and booking reminders, so that they get an email with their name in it, worded exactly as you wish.
Much better than ‘Dear No Name’ that I once got from someone!!
There are many more features in Paperbell which I'll describe in subsequent issues; for now you can see it here at my affiliate link, and try before you buy. To see it in action,
here is the Coaching Shop that I created for my work with it.
In other news...
I still cannot stop talking about Suzanne Dibble - she has a whole Small Business Legal Academy to support small business owners,
especially coaches, consultants and therapists.
Just to say I still have a spare copy of her book, GDPR for Dummies. RRP is £23.99, with occasional price drops, but you can have mine for £15 plus postage, first come first served! Let me know and I will arrange it.
That's it for now , and I hope you've found this useful. Feel free to get in touch with any questions or suggestions, and I'll be in touch again next month. For
now, here are a few buttons illustrating how I've used some of the products I've described.
All best wishes,
Barbara
