How do you feel when things go "upside down"? Have you felt like all is well and you're doing your thing and all of sudden you realize that what you are
doing is literally, "upside down"...?
This is exactly what happened to me last week, just coming back from vacation, doing daily live events, and having short lead times for event prep. Taking for granted the very routine Facebook Live video and I missed an essential step without a checklist.
When you are tired from squeezing in some "fun" and then the feeling energized from spending time away from the "job" - I was reminded how important the routine and attention to details is needed every time. I jumped into doing my FBL and did not realize that I had not "pushed" the button to flip the camera view to make sure that the
video was in the right view and instead the demo was being viewed "upside down" ...ugghhh!
Lesson learned and THANK YOU to the folks watching the video realizing that: 1) I was not aware of my mistake, 2) identified the situation, 3) explained to others what was happening, and 4) also being reassuring that they were still able to follow the demo that I was doing. Finally, I realized what was happening, so I could correct
it and show the final projects upside RIGHT!
So... know that the video shared below from last weeks' Facebook Live is unique and upside down...until the end where the project can be viewed upside right. Also, remember the step-by-step instructions of the project are also available in this newsletter.
ENJOY!
