Hi
August is flying by and soon the leaves will begin changing colors for fall but nothing like the amazing colors I saw yesterday when I attended my first ever pow wow. The vibrant colors they use to make their amazing native costumes are so magnificent and beautiful. I took tons of videos and pictures. I have shared one of the
pictures I took below.
Speaking of fall, I wanted to tell you about a free virtual card making event that Stampin' Up is sponsoring to celebrate World Card Making Day. World Card Making Day is every year on October 1st. The second thing I wanted to mention was Paper Pumpkin versus Card Kits. Some people have
asked what is the difference between Paper Pumpkin and the Card Kits created by Stampin' Up! Well, Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription whereas Card Kits are not. Paper Pumpkin is a surprise project in a box every month that arrives in the mail (although you do get a hint). Card Kits are your choice and you pick the specific kit or kits that you want to purchase so you know what you are getting. Paper Pumpkin subscriptions can be for 1,3,6 or 12 months and you can
pause your subscription for a month if you want. Card Kits and Paper Pumpkin are both all-inclusive kits that give you everything you need including instructions. Stampin' Up also creates videos you can watch as they put together the projects. They are great to take on vacation or to give as gifts or to plan a "kit" together with friends and family.
Last winter, I spent two months in Arizona and I brought a Paper Pumpkin kit with me which came in
handy when I needed a thank you card for my neighbor down there. If you want to hear more about Paper Pumpkin, here is a link to a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OS68TM89A4w The hint for the September Paper Pumpkin is that it will be some sort of Halloween project. If you want to subscribe to Paper
Pumpkin here is the link for that: https://www.paperpumpkin.com/en-us/sign-up/?demoid=2264950
If you want to see the list of Kits available to select from, you can go to my online store and
search for the word "Kit". I have several favorite kits. One is called The Best Remedy and it makes get well cards. The second is Light the Candles card kit and it makes two different birthday card designs. Check them out and I hope you will consider ordering from me. I would be honored to be your Stampin' Up demonstrator.
