Hello
It's almost time for me to start packing. I will be leaving Tucson next week after we summerize our home and close it up. It will be nice to get back to my home in Minnesota. I have lots to do when I get back including applying for social security so I can retire from my day job. I am so ready for retirement! Then I can spend more time making cards!!! YEEAH!!
Speaking of making cards, I have a quick tutorial for you below. This is a fun way to show off both sides of your designer series paper (DSP). First you need a sheet of DSP that measures 4" x 5 1/4". Next you make a cut with your snips about 1 1/4" long in the middle of the longer side. Fold back the DSP on either side and attach it to your card base. Then add a focal point like a circle, hexagon, or
whatever you have on hand. Stamp your sentiment on your focal point. Add a few embellishments and you're done. But not quite! Next you need to decorate the envelope to match. Lucky for you I have a blog post with 10 different ways to decorate your envelopes to match your lovely card. Check it out using this link.
